Introducing: Canary Database Reports podcast

If you're interested in the intersection of animal health and human health, and how animals might be sentinels of human environmental hazards, and what animals can tell us about bioterrorism activities, or simply can't get enough podcast into your diet, check out the new Canary Database Reports podcast. I'm loosely hosting the show, which features Dr. Peter Rabinowitz of Yale's School of Medicine, the project's principal investigator, discussing the many uses of the Canary Database.

Episode two, just posted, features a discussion of animals as sentinels in bioterrorism agents. Upcoming episodes will feature what we know about avian influenza, among other topics.

Give it a listen, and pass it along to an animal/health researcher you know!
