Didn't get in to code4libcon 2009? Me neither. No worries for me, though, I wasn't likely to make it there anyway. But I'm going to miss it.

Hey, wait a sec... we're both in and around the DC metro area, right? Yeah, that's right!
We will have ALT.CODE4LIB.DC!
If it's just two lightning talks and a who-does-the-best-edsu-impersonation contest, that will be enough! If it's just 20 minutes of chumby hacking and some pizza, that will be enough! If it's just a "management doesn't get me and my animal books and my love of python/xslt jones/metadata prejudice/solr faceting strategy/love of marginally good indie bands/API library/bass guitar/zeroconfmetaopensearch/hippieish 'sharing' and 'freedom' silliness/AJAX snazztasticity/beard" rantfest, that will be enough! If it's just three of us at a bar, that will be enough!
